Quiet Night

Tired of being kept awake by snoring? There's a gentle way to quiet it down.

What Quiet Night is

Quiet Night is a laser treatment for snoring, using the same CO2 laser we already rely on for soft-tissue procedures like tongue-tie release. It's built for the soft tissue at the back of the mouth and throat, most often the soft palate, which can relax and vibrate during sleep and cause the sound of snoring. No incisions, no anesthesia, and no time away from your normal routine.

We're one of the few offices in the Treasure Valley to offer it, and it's a treatment we're glad to have, especially for patients whose snoring is disrupting sleep for them or the person next to them.

How the CO2 laser works

The laser is used to make a series of tiny, controlled marks in the soft palate tissue, spaced closely together but leaving the surrounding tissue untouched. That gentle, fractional approach prompts the tissue to heal and produce new collagen, which firms it up over time. Firmer tissue vibrates less, which is what quiets snoring.

Treatment is done in short, in-office visits. Most patients complete the full course in 3 to 4 sessions, spaced a few weeks apart, since the tightening effect builds gradually as the tissue heals and remodels.

Why patients choose it

» Non-surgical, with no cutting and no stitches
» No anesthesia needed for treatment
» Each visit is short, done right in the chair
» Little to no downtime afterward
» No oral appliance to wear every night
» Uses the same trusted CO2 laser already part of our care
» A full course of treatment is typically just 3 to 4 sessions

What to expect during and after

During treatment, you'll be seated comfortably in the chair while we apply the laser to the back of your palate. Most patients describe it as quick and easy to sit through. Afterward, it's normal for the treated area to feel a little rough or scratchy for a day or so, similar to a mild sore throat, and that settles on its own.

You can return to eating, talking, and your normal day right away. Because the tightening comes from the tissue healing and rebuilding collagen, the improvement in snoring tends to continue over the following weeks, and we'll talk with you about a schedule for touch-up visits to maintain the result.

Don't just feel the improvement, measure it

We ask patients to track their snoring with the free SnoreLab app before starting treatment and again as it progresses, so the improvement isn't just something you feel, it's something you can see in the data. Recording a few nights before your first session gives us a baseline, and comparing it to recordings taken after treatment is an easy way to watch the results add up.

As treatment progresses New recordings show the change, real data, not guesswork.

Who is a good candidate

Quiet Night is designed for adults whose snoring comes from soft tissue in the mouth and upper throat relaxing during sleep. It's a good option if you're looking for a non-surgical way to quiet snoring, whether it's your own sleep or your partner's that's being disrupted. It is not a replacement for diagnosed sleep apnea treatment, so if you or your doctor suspect sleep apnea, that's a conversation we'll have together before deciding whether Quiet Night is the right fit, or whether you should be evaluated by a sleep physician first.

"Best dentist in Idaho! I've been to many natural dentists and he surpasses them all. Very good at what he does, humble, cool and thorough! Best prices too. I have no insurance... Can't say enough as I could go on. He's worth the drive to Nampa!! Love him and his staff is great!"
